Water supply interruptions in Bedfordview and Germiston are due to a fault at Rand Water Palmiet Pump Station.

The affected areas include Bedfordview, Essexwold and Germiston.

“The estimated restoration time is unknown and residents will be updated through the City of Ekurhuleni’s digital platforms,” said COE spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini.

Two water tankers have been dispatched to the Germiston area and deployment of water tankers for Bedfordview will be communicated through the city’s digital platforms.
