City works to restore power in Meadowdale after cable faults
City teams have been working around the clock to fix multiple faults in the main and alternative feeder cables from the Rietcon substation, aiming to restore electricity to affected Meadowdale areas.
In response to concerns raised, the city confirmed that its teams had been working around the clock to restore power in the affected parts of Meadowdale.

City spokesperson Zweli Dlamini said the main and the alternative feeder cables from the Rietcon substation had multiple faults, adding that repair works started in the morning with the hopes of restoring power later that day.
