Curro Edenvale celebrates 5th anniversary

In 2023, the school achieved a 100% matric pass rate with its first-ever matric group.

Curro Edenvale celebrated its fifth birthday on April 5.

Executive head at Curro Edenvale André van Wyk said Founder’s Day is an occasion to celebrate and reflect on the school’s success.

In 2023, the school achieved a 100% matric pass rate with its first-ever matric group.

School management, guest speaker and partners who were at the celebrations.

The matriculants are now embarking on various paths, with some attending university and others entering the workforce.

The school opened in January 2019 with 179 learners and has since expanded to over 860 learners.

Van Wyk said the school has three focus areas that include:

• Academic excellence: The school wants learners to extend themselves academically and is providing all the necessary support and resources to ensure that academic excellence is achieved.

• Parental involvement: Curro Edenvale encourages parents to be a part of the school and to be involved in everything that takes place at the school.

• Staff development: The school aims to ensure that its staff continues to learn and grow.

They must adapt to new methods in the classroom. As Artificial Intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into our daily lives, we want to ensure that our staff keep pace with these changes.

The school thanked its learners for their beautiful performance.

Thanks were further extended to the parents, teachers, staff and school partners for continuous support and dedication over the past five years.
