Decomposed body of woman discovered in Klopperpark
Bedfordview police have launched an investigation after the decomposed body of an unidentified woman was discovered near Herman and Barbara Road in Klopperpark. Officers are appealing to the public for help in identifying the deceased.
The Bedfordview SAPS has launched an investigation after the decomposed body of a woman was discovered in the Klopperpark area.
According to Sergeant Lillian Modiga, spokesperson for the station, officers responded to a report on July 18 at the corner of Herman and Barbara Road.
Upon arrival, police found the body of a white female in an advanced state of decomposition. The upper body was dressed in a hoodie, and her lower body was partially clothed.

“One leg was still clothed while the other was exposed,” said Modiga.
“The deceased also appeared to have a hole on the left side of her face.”
The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, and while no foul play has been confirmed, it has not yet been ruled out.

At this stage, police are unable to identify the woman.
“We are appealing to members of the public who may have a missing family member or any information that could assist with identifying the woman to come forward,” said Modiga.
The investigation remains ongoing.
