BCC juniors become youngest certified referees in local football history
BCC Football Club celebrates the success of three young players who have qualified as the region’s youngest referees, demonstrating passion, knowledge, and leadership in youth football.
BCC Football Club is celebrating a significant milestone as three of its junior members step confidently into the world of officiating.
Mateo Dos Santos (12), Bokang Dikole (14), and Aiden Nunes (15) have officially qualified as Level 1 referees, making them the youngest match officials in the region.
“Their recent referee exam results were outstanding. Mateo scored 85%, while both Bokang and Aiden achieved a score of 90%.

“These trailblazers have shown exceptional knowledge of the game, remarkable maturity, and a genuine passion for football,” said Tony Carvalho, chairperson of BCC Football Club.
“Their commitment to learning and growing within the sport is inspiring.
“BCC is proud to support their journey and provide opportunities for them to gain practical experience on the pitch.
“We encourage the wider football community to support and respect them as they continue to grow – both as players and match officials.”
