Big strokes brings great results
The gala was held at Wahoo Aquatic Centre, Sunninghill.
Demi Leech, Hannah Robertson, Kerryn Herbst and Lize-Mari de Beer from St Andrew’s School for Girls participated in the Duel in The Pool July 2017 Swimming Gala.
The gala was held at Wahoo Aquatic Centre, Sunninghill.
Herbst finished in first place in the following swimming techniques: women 50m backstroke, women 100m backstroke and the women 50m butterfly.
She came fourth in the women 4 x 50m freestyle relay.
De Beer finished in second place in the women 4 x 50m medley relay and third in the women 50m freestyle, women 100m freestyle and women 4 x 50m freestyle relay.
Robertson took second place in the women 200m freestyle, fourth place in the women 4 x 50m freestyle relay and fifth place in the women 4 x 50m medley relay.
Leech came fifth in the women 200m individual medley and eighth in the women 100m breaststroke and women 100m freestyle.
