Schools battle it out at Mind Sports SA’s online school championships

Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) recently held its Online Inter-School Championships.

At the championships, on February 10, schools battled it out for eight esports titles.

General secretary of MSSA, Colin Webster, said schools from across SA participated in the event.

He said 27 players earned their school provincial colours at the event.

A further 82 players qualified for MSSAs annual national team trials.

Local schools which participated included Saheti School, Jeppe High School for Boys and St Benedict’s.

Northcliff High School’s team was declared the overall winners.
