Man killed after car veers off the N12 highway
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide
A 30-year-old man was killed after his Ford bakkie crashed through the guardrail, just after the N12 Daveyton on-ramp, in the early hours of the morning on October 3.
The accident led to traffic delays later that morning, with traffic backed up from Kingsway Road to the N12 on-ramp.
According to the EMPD’s Lerato Monyane, it is suspected that the driver of the Ford bakkie was being chased, which resulted in him losing control of the vehicle.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
