Get inspired to follow a career in the arts at Sibikwa expo

Learners attending last year’s expo were able to get valuable career guidance from learning institutions specialising in creative arts.

The Sibikwa Arts Centre will be hosting its second annual Creative Industries Career Exhibition on May 18 and 19.

This year’s event is themed ‘Doors of Learning and Culture Shall be Open,’ and Grade 12 learners interested in a career in the creative arts sector are invited to attend.

From performing, visual and digital arts to marketing, social entrepreneurship, tourism, and hospitality, a diverse group of institutions including universities, arts NGOs, colleges, and other career development institutions will be on hand to provide presentations, exhibitions as well as essential career guidance.

The exhibition space promises to be imaginative and exciting, encouraging learners to be motivated about the unlimited career choices at their disposal.

Sibikwa Arts Centre is located at 13 Liverpool Road, Benoni South, and the expo will take place from 10:00 to 14:00.
