Clean-up for Earth Day

Clean Projects from Benoni calls on artists, crafters and out-of-the-box thinkers to join hands for its Earth Day celebrations on April 20.
The community-driven organisation will be meeting on the corner of Fourth Avenue and Tom Jones Street for its ‘Benoni versus Plastics’ clean-up.
Normal cleaning operations will be done throughout the day, but participants are also invited to let their creative juices flow by creating fashion items, art sculptures, accessories or other crafts using only recyclable items.
These items will be exhibited on the day to dazzle and inspire others, while entrants stand a chance of winning great prizes.
