Run for charity
Lakeside Mall will host a Family Fun Run on Sunday, August 25, in aid of charity.
The proceeds will go to Project Feed the Children, the Benoni SPCA and Animal Lovers Project Swing (Alps).
People can enter the 5km, 10km and stroller and dog categories.
The run will commence at Lakeside Mall Entrance 5, at 7.30am, with the prize-giving at 10am.
Nearly 500 people have already registered for the event and all entrants will receive a medal.
The first 1 000 people and the first 200 dog entries will also receive goodie bags.
Entries will close on August 19, at 5pm.
