It’s Youth Month. What are your thoughts on bullying and how it can be prevented?

Tamecia Wesley (14): Most of the time bullying gets out of hand and it may lead those who are being bullied to have less self-esteem and they end up committing suicide.

Samkelo Fakude (14): When you’re being bullied you need to tell a teacher that you trust. If my friend is being bullied I would accompany him or her to a teacher as a form of support.

Kayceé-Ryder Botes (8): Bullying is wrong and bullies bully people who haven’t done anything to them. When you’re being bullied you need to tell a teacher and your parents.

Muzi Magagula (14): I would advise my peers to tell their parents so they can be able to talk to the teachers at school and find a solution together to stop the bullies.
