Sorbet drybar opens its doors
Blow and go at the first ever Sorbet drybar in Benoni, opened its doors to the public on June 3, and celebrated its official opening on June 11.
Carol Gartner, who is the proud owner of the drybar, at The Square at Farrarmere, said the salon promises quality service and treatment.
“All of the ladies who work at the drybar are qualified and have experience in hair and nails,” she said.
Loyal customers of Sorbet, which is also owned by Gartner, were welcomed to celebrate the opening of the drybar on Saturday (June 11).
The Sorbet drybar is not a normal hair salon; you can have your hair blown while you have a manicure and pedicure done at the same time.
But, there is no cut and colour; it is a simple but extravagant blow and go salon.
“Our aim is to give customers a fabulous feeling when they walk in and walk out of the store,” said Gartner.
The drybar allows you to choose from a range of styles from the blow-dry menu with each hair-style named after a flavour of sorbet.
“The drybar being located next to Sorbet makes this a convenient stop for women and men,” Gartner added.
“You can have your treatments done at Sorbet, then walk to the drybar to have your nails and hair done.”
