Community packs 20 000 food parcels
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints packed 20 000 sachets of food for the hungry recently.
In accordance with a project by Stop Hunger Now Southern Africa, the Mormons invited members of the community to join in packing on assembly lines.
Each bag was packed with rice, soy and dried vegetables, meant to serve six people with an all-round meal.
