Congratulations to our May bride

Pamentha Govender, who became Sumeer Kadathlal’s wife, on May 11, won the May Bride of the Month competition hosted by the Benoni City Times and Brentwood Pick n Pay.

The handover took place at Pick n Pay Brentwood Park on Saturday, August 17.

She received a shopping voucher from Pick n Pay valued at R1 000.

Diederik Husselmann is the lucky reader who voted for Pamentha, whose name was drawn and walked away with a R500 voucher.

Brides who were wed in June are encouraged to enter their photographs for the new month’s competition in the City Times.

Each month’s winner will go through as a contestant for the Bride of the Year competition.

The overall winner will receive a local or overseas trip for her and her husband to the value of R25 000.

The runner-up will win R10 000.

Photographs can be emailed to tanyab@caxton.co.za, with the subject Bride of the Year.

Only the bride must be in the photograph.

The picture must be a jpeg attachment of no less than 500KB (or bigger than 4MG).

The following details must be submitted along with the photograph: the bride’s name and maiden name, the grooms name and surname, date and venue of wedding, current residential address and the bride’s contact details.

The closing date for June brides to enter is August 23.
