CPF nab robbers
A quick reaction by the New Modder CPF saw three thugs being nabbed on Saturday.

A gardener and a domestic worker were also arrested,on suspicion of being party to the crime.
On Saturday, August 17, at 9am, about eight men arrived in two cars at a house in Unity Street, New Modder.
The house is occupied by a 72-year-old man and his 69-year-old wife.
“The gardener allegedly opened the gate for them and the domestic worker let them into the house,” said police spokesman Capt Mack Mngomezulu.
Fortunately, said Mongomezulu, the woman was on the phone with her daughter when the incident occurred and quickly notified her that there were thugs in the house.
The daughter then contacted the CPF,who reacted speedily.
“They apprehended three suspects, one of who was run over with a car,” said Mngomezulu.
The gardener and the maid were arrested as suspects, due to the way they granted access to the robbers.
The others are still at large and police are searching for them.
