Company receives award

The College of Production Technology (CPT), in Apex, won the Achiever Award: Best Training Programme by a Small Company, at the annual Skills Development Summit, for the second year in a row, on August 7.

The Dawn Group nominated the company for their presentation of the wholesale and retail operations supervision learnership at NQF Level 4 – aimed at team leaders and operation managers.

In 2012, the company was nominated by DHL Supply Chain for the presentation of the learnership: Wholesale and retail distribution at level two.

Hosted by Achiever magazine and sponsored by BHP Billiton, the prestigious Achiever Awards singled out and paid tribute to businesses and other establishments who demonstrated their commitment to the enhancement of their employees’ skills base by implementing training and development programmes that are relevant, innovative and effective.

Over 350 key industry players, government institutions, and trade councils were at the Achiever Awards.
