For the love of history and heritage
The Benoni Heritage Foundation is calling on members of the public who are passionate about the town’s history and built heritage to join the organisation.
The society was initially established by Benoni residents, and currently has three members.
Their mission is to have a town where present and future progress and development remembers and respects the natural and built environment of its history and heritage.
The foundation aims to educate Benoni residents, especially the youth, about the town’s heritage.
It also aims to harness Benoni’s heritage assets to promote a renewed sense of civic pride.
