Family fun comes gift-wrapped this holiday season

‘Tis the season to be jolly at Emperors Palace, this December, with fun family and entertainment programmes for the little ones to enjoy over the summer holidays.

Here are three tempting reasons to visit Emperors Palace this holiday season:

The mesmerising Garden of Lights will be on display from sunset to 10pm daily, from December 6 to January 5, weather permitting.

This delightful wonderland will provide an evening of fun and entertainment in the garden of the D’oreale Grande hotel.

Entry into the garden is free and children are welcome to take pictures with Santa and his friends.

Monetary and toy donations will be accepted at the gate for a local charitable organisation.

Santa has a big surprise in store for both young and old, with a brand-new and exciting playground consisting of 16 inflatable and 18 funfair rides.

Santa’s Playground @thePark will offer a unique entertainment experience in a safe and secure environment.

The park will be open daily from December 1 to January 12, from 10am to 10pm, weather permitting.

Mechanical rides will be open during the week from 2pm, but during public holidays, on event days and weekends they will be open from 10am.

The inflatable water slides will close at 7pm, while the remaining funfair rides will close at 10pm.

Additional Santa’s Playground entertainment includes an Afrikaans music festival and Bikers Santa’s Run.

The beautifully manicured gardens at the D’oreale Grande hotel will provide a daily calendar of action-packed children’s activities, ranging from pony rides, face-painting and jumping castles, to a kids’ disco and cooking classes.

The children’s activities will take place daily, from December 18 to January 3, from 11am to 4pm, and entry is free.
