Man dies in accident
A man died when the vehicle in which he was travelling crashed into a robot, yesterday evening (March 27).
The accident occurred on the corner of Prince’s Avenue and Wilstead Street, in the Benoni CBD.
Paramedics arrived on scene and noted that the light motor vehicle had sustained serious damage.
”They immediately went to the vehicle and found a man, in his 30s, lying outside it,” said ER24 JHB East spokesperson Glen Orritt.
”Upon assessment paramedics found that the man had already succumbed to his severe injuries and he was declared dead by paramedics.”
The second occupant of the vehicle sustained no physical injuries.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate the details surrounding the fatal collision.
