Dancing for charity

A total of 115 students of the Gill Henning Ballet School were part of the fundraising ballet show, that was held from March 13 to 15, at Arbor Primary School.

The show illustrated a Peter Pan fantasy, through graceful choreography.

All the proceeds that were raised are in aid of Animals in Distress and Choc.

“We have not finalised the total amount yet, but at the moment each charity will get about R15 000,” said Gill Henning, owner of the ballet school.

Henning added that the entire production took five months to finalise, and her youngest students to perform in the production are three years old.

“The most exciting moment for me was seeing my daughter and granddaughter perform together,” she said.

“I would like to thank everyone for their help, it really means so much to me.”
