The World of Dogs, Cats, Pet Expo and Ford Motor company are calling upon animal lovers to help them break the Guinness World Record for the most pet food collected.
The aim is to collect a minimum of 20 tons of pet food from July 14 to 20.
Apart from being a fun opportunity for residents to contribute to the Guinness World Record attempt, donors can draw inspiration from this initiative.
The real goal is to collect as much pet food as possible for donation to the participating animal welfare organisations.
One of the organisations that stands to benefit from this drive is the Benoni SPCA.
Drop-offs of pet food can be done at a participating Ford dealership.
