A man is expected to appear in the Benoni Magistrates Court today, on a murder charge.
The 51-year-old suspect is accused of stabbing dead another man at a property in the Benoni Agricultural Holdings, in Larch Road.
Crystal Park SAPS responded to the scene on Saturday evening, the day of the stabbing.
The suspect and deceased apparently argued and became involved in a physical fight.
”The two men were separated by the deceased’s wife and the suspect went to his room and returned after a few minutes with a knife,” said Crystal Park SAPS media liaison officer Tryna Maritz.
”He then stabbed the victim in his chest.”
Paramedics declared the 49-year-old victim dead on scene.
