Man critical in Pretoria Road accident
A man was seriously injured when his car collided with a tree on the corner of Pretoria Road and Struben Street, on Friday.
The Rynfield accident took place at around 10pm.
”On arrival ER24 paramedics found that a light motor vehicle had collided with a tree. Paramedics rushed to the vehicle and found a man, in his late 20s, believed to be the driver, still inside the extensively damaged vehicle,” said ER24 JHB East spokesperson Glen Orritt.
”Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had suffered serious injuries and was in a critical condition.”
The man was stabilised on scene before being transported to Life the Glynnwood Hospital for further care.
Orritt thanked the Benoni CPF for their assistance on scene.
The accident will be investigated.
