Benoni City Times ALS #Icebucketchallenge (VIDEO)
The Witbank News nominated the Benoni City Times to take on the ALS #Icebucketchallenge.
On a freezing cold Friday, August 29, the staff at the BCT braved the chill of the challenge in support of ALS and the J9 Foundation.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)—also referred to as motor neurone disease (MND), is a neurodegenerative disease with various causes.
ALS is characterised by muscle spasticity, rapidly progressive weakness due to muscle atrophy, and difficulty in speaking (dysarthria), swallowing (dysphagia), and breathing (dyspnea). ALS is the most common of the five motor neuron diseases.
