While many things have been said recently about the introduction of the e-toll system and the ongoing dispute over payments, one has to look at the money spent on the highways and the off-ramps, with reference to the off-ramp at Snake Road, in particular.
I am disgusted with how, within a short period of time, we have to negotiate our way through large lumps of dried concrete laid in the lanes (travelling on Snake Road towards Pretoria Road), which were spilt out of readymade concrete trucks due to overloading.
This will, one day, inevitably cause an accident, due to a motorist swerving, trying to avoid part or all of the load destined for someone building foundations.
When is the council going to address this issue?
