The 17-year-old Wordsworth High School learner, Mbali Innocent Masango, was killed in her home, in Etwatwa, on September 16.

Linda wrote: “Mbali is my sister’s best friend, I’m so hurt because I felt as if I knew Mbali personally, due to the bubbly person she was. It is a loss to the community, to Wordsworth High .

“Who ever did this to Mbali will pay and will rot in jail – you ended a child’s future before it could start you don’t deserve to live.

“May Mbali’s soul rest in peace.”

Nomsa Nkosi wrote: “This it was a very serious shock to me and my kids as Mbali used to come to my house to buy some stuff that we sell.

“I couldn’t believe it when my son informed me, and I rushed straight to her home — only to find it’s true.”

“I live in Mpumalanga and when I saw this story I was shaking thinking of my baby cousin who is a Wordsworth student and also stays in Etwatwa.
