Change these children’s lives for a day

You could put a smile on hundreds of disadvantaged children's faces and fill their bellies for a day.

The Care and Share Christmas Party, which is organised by Cops4Christ, in partnership with the Benoni City Times, will be held at the Benoni Bunny Park on November 29.

The success of the day still depends on whether the following items will be sponsored:

  •  300 Viennas
  •  100 cold drinks
  •  40 dolls
  •  100 soccer or rugby balls
  •  100 gift packs (lip ice, lipstick, roll-on, aerosol fragrances, lotion)
  •  240 hygiene packs (toothpaste, toothbrush, facecloth and soap)
  •  Tomato sauce
  •  Mayonnaise
  •  Margarine
  •  Cheese spread

Approximately 250 children from Kids Haven, Benoni Child Welfare, Angel Wings Care Centre, the Red Cross Society, God’s Loved Ones, Home-Start and Haven Care Centre will be invited to the party.

The children will receive food and a Slush Puppy and enjoy face-painting and a karate demonstration, to name just a few treats.
