The incident occurred at around 11.45pm, in Rooikat Street.
Crystal Park SAPS detective branch commander Capt Glen Whitford said the elderly couple, both aged 71, were tied up by the three robbers.
The residents sustained no injuries.
Whitford said the robbers, one of whom was armed with a gun and another with a knife, gained entry onto the property by lifting up the electric fence on the perimeter wall.
They then forced open a sliding door.
Whitford said the three men made off with a TV, camera, jewellery, firearms and electronic equipment.
A case of house robbery has been opened at the Crystal Park Police Station.
No one has been arrested.
