Keep supporting the cheer fund
The festive season is underway and the Benoni SPCA takes in more stray and abandoned animals over the holiday period to come.
Members of the public can assist in caring for these animals by donating towards its annual Christmas Cheer Fund.
The fund has risen to R3 000 this week, during which the following donations were made:
Rene and Errol Civin R1 000
Anonymous R100
Zack, Blue, Ice and Tito from Husky Rescue R200
Heather R20
The association is always in need of pet food and blanket donations and these items would also be greatly appreciated.
Each donation will be acknowledged in the Benoni City Times and on the Benoni SPCA Christmas tree.
There is still time till the end of December to donate towards the fund.
