Man dies in Farrarmere home fire
A man in his 30s died in a house fire in Farrarmere this morning (March 11).
“When ER24 and provincial paramedics as well as firefighters arrived on scene, they found a room engulfed in flames,” said ER24 spokesperson Glen Orritt.
“Firefighters extinguished the blaze.
“Upon inspection, the body of a man, believed to be in his 30s, was found.”
ER24 JHB East spokesperson Glen Orritt said emergency services had to break down the boundary wall to gain entry to the Agate Street property.
The cause of the incident is unknown.
