Accident leaves one injured in Cloverdene

ER24 paramedics attended to the collision, involving a car and a bakkie on the corner of Cloverdene and Third roads at about 7pm.

“On arrival at the scene paramedics found a man sitting near the badly damaged,” said Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson.

“He was assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries.”

Bodasing said the man was treated and transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

None of the occupants of the bakkie were injured.

The cause of the collision was unknown at the time of publishing.

Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
