The Paul Harris Fellowship Award is the most prestigious handed out by any Rotary club, recognising exceptional work done in the past year by members within the society.
The event was held on December 1, at The Lake Club Benoni, in Lakefield.
Tradition dictates that the nominees are kept in the dark regarding the awards, which made for several surprises among the group of attendees, including club president Ian Williams.
The Paul Harris Fellowship Award recipients are:
Isabel do Vale
Annetta Danckwerts
Chris Deacon
The Sapphire Award (second Paul Harris Fellowship Award) recipients are:
Elaine Stathacopoulos
Sheryl Naidoo
Ian Williams
The attendees enjoyed a meal and fellowship after the awards were presented.
