Two hurt in N12 accident
Two people were injured in an accident on the N12 west-bound, near the Snake Road bridge, this morning (April 6).
The accident happened at 8.15am and involved a white bakkie and green car.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The driver of the white bakkie was trapped inside his vehicle, due to the impact.
“We suspect he broke his femur,” said ER24 spokesperson Kelly Burchell.
Both drivers were transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital in different ambulances.
Burchell said the woman who was driving the green car sustained minor injuries, while the man was critical due to the severe injury to his leg.
The accident will be investigated.
