Hundreds of Cubs gather in Benoni
Hundreds of children, from 50 to 60 Cub Scout packs from all over Gauteng, gathered for a weekend of camping at the Arrowe Park Scouts’ camping ground, on September 17.
The Cubs gathered on the Saturday afternoon and had fun playing games and participating in different obstacles courses under the guidance of their parents and pack Scouters.
They also planted trees in the park on the Sunday morning before their departure.
A total of 850 Cubs attended, 600 of whom camped over.
