UPDATE: About 60 injured due to heavy fog on N12 near Daveyton
Roughly 60 people were transported to various hospitals after about eight separate accidents on the N12 on Monday morning.
The incidents happened at about 7am, on the eastbound carriageway, near the Daveyton off-ramp.

Waldo Zweep, ER24 spokesperson, said about 17 vehicles were involved.
He said only minor injuries were reported.
The accidents were apparently the result of heavy fog.
