General manager of Lakeside Mall, Chantell Roemer, told the City Times there was a robbery at the Telkom shop.
She said an investigation is underway, but that preliminary information suggests a group of men entered the mall’s parking area just after 6am, when it opened.
No injuries have been reported.
Police were not immediately available for comment.
