A man in his 20s was critically injured following a two-vehicle accident on Great North Road this evening (February 19).
The accident happened near Ensign Avenue, when travelling in a northerly direction, at about 7.30pm.

Clair Wolstencroft, ER24 spokesperson, said the man in the bakkie was airlifted to the Union Hospital.
The spokesperson said the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Meanwhile, a 14-year-old male cyclist was injured along Great North Road this morning, at about 7.20am.
The accident happened near Goud Street.
Wolstencroft said the child was transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries after being knocked down by a vehicle.
