The Department of Social Development is looking for the mother or maternal family of Matthew Makama.
The mother of the child is Olga Makama.
She was last known to live in Zenzele, Daveyton.

The father of the child is reportedly deceased.
Social worker Jenneth Ntshayintshayi said the child’s family urgently needs to be located.
In 2016, home visits were conducted and it was reported that there was rezoning in the above area, therefore, the family has been untraceable.
