Have a ball at Old Bens on St Paddy’s Day
Have some Irish fun with the good folk at Old Bens.
There is going to be a bonanza of fun activities on March 17 at Old Benonians Sports Club when the club hosts a St Patrick’s Day Family Fun Day.
Starting at noon on Saturday, the club will be hustling and bustling with exciting events in celebration of the Irish holiday.
With inflatable foosball, jumping castles and green drinks the family fun day will coincide with and aim to drum up big support for the Eastern Local Football Super Reserve League and Super League matches between Old Bens and Luso Africa.
There will also be lamb, beef and chicken souvla (skewered meat) on sale.
The reserves kick-off at 1.45pm and the first team at 3.30pm while there is talk of a gag curtain-raiser game ahead of those matches.
