The Benoni SAPS is looking for witnesses to a car accident on the corner of Mowbray and Turvey streets, Western Extension, on April 30 at around 8.45pm.
The 24-year-old female driver involved in the collision succumbed to her injuries on May 29.
Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said the woman was taken to Tambo Memorial Hospital for treatment and was discharged on May 2.
“She was readmitted to hospital on May 4 and died on May 29.”
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident or information about the car that was involved in the accident.
