Ekurhuleni residents and businesses are reminded that as of Sunday (July 1) tariffs will increase, as announced by the MMC for Finance and Economic Development, Dr Nkosindiphile Xhakaza, when he tabled the 2018/2019 budget speech.
Tariffs have increased as follow:
• Assessment rates 6.9 per cent.
• Water 12.96 per cent.
• Sanitation 9 per cent.
• Refuse removal 7.5 per cent.
• Electricity between 5.32 per cent and 8.5 per cent (subject to usage).
