Ekurhuleni metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe has confirmed the closure of Snake Road in both directions due to a sinkhole that was identified earlier today (November 2).

“Currently both directions of Snake Road between Pioneer Road and Golden Drive are closed to traffic,” said Gadebe.
