Police are investigating a case of murder and house robbery after a 54-year-old man was shot dead on December 4 at a complex on the corner of Glen Gory Road and Krige Street, Benoni Small Farms, around noon.
Spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said three men gained access to the complex by digging under the fence.

“According to the son of the deceased, the three men walked into their house, pointed a firearm at him and asked him where his father was,” said Sekele.
“One of the three men got into a scuffle with the deceased and shots were fired,” said Sekele.
The victim was shot in the head.
The suspects took the deceased’s firearm and ran out of the house.
One of the men’s firearms was discovered.
The homeowner died on scene.
No arrests have been made.
