Crystal Park SAPS members arrested two men, aged 23 and 18, during a stop and search on September 14 at Chief Albert Luthuli (Sector Two) near Cloverdene.
The 23-year-old was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, while the 18-year-old was found with a knife.
Spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mopeli said police stopped the white Polo WV as it looks suspicious and one of the alleged suspects didn’t have a valid reason about why he was carrying a knife.
Both were arrested and will appear at the Benoni Magistrate’s Court soon.
