Benoni High learner receives scholarship from Rhodes University

Benoni High School learner Zayanah Laher, who achieved the prestigious Diamond award in the De Beers English Olympiad, has also received a prestigious Rhodes University Scholarship which is a first for Benoni High School.

The Grade 10 learner pitted her English skills against over 8 000 entrants nationally, most of whom are in Grade 12.

The school is proud of this young star and her remarkable achievement.
