The Ekurhuleni metro wishes to inform Benoni residents of a planned water supply interruption from 7am on November 6 to 12 noon on November 7.
The metro’s spokesperson, Themba Gadebe, said a new Rand Water pipeline will be connected to the water network during this time and this will result in a low pressure to no water supply in the affected areas.
The following areas will be affected:
Kindgsway
Lindelani
Modderbee Prison
Santa TB Hospital
Residents are requested to store enough water to sustain them during this time.
Two water tankers will roam around Kingsway and Lindelani to provide water to residents during this time.
“The metro wishes to apologise for the inconvenience caused,” he said
