Dexter Dance School bags several awards

The school was proud of their learners achievements.

Dexter Dance School in Northmead recently took part in the 2021 South African Dance Teachers’ Association (SADTA) Discorama Dance competition held at Woodlands International College.

“Dexter Dance School is one of the best hip-hop dance schools in the East Rand,” said director of the school Dexter.

“Our vision is to build confidence, self-esteem and strong, world-class dancers. The school takes all learners from a beginner phase right up to a professional, international level.”

According to Dexter, Discorama is one of the biggest SADTA regional competitions in South Africa.

“It has been running for decades and has been an incredible platform for dance studios to propel students into the dance competition world.

“Discorama has multiple dance genre sections, namely freestyle, slow dance, hip-hop, Latin and ballroom, all judged by world-class judges.”
