Another successful jumble sale for Lions

According to Strachan, the jumble sale is popular and they rely on the income generated to be used for their community service activities.

The Benoni Lions Club had an influx of people in and out their doors at their monthly jumble sale on August 28 at 111 Howard Avenue, Western Extension.

According to the club’s president, Tina Strachan, they had about 20 people through their doors within the first hour of their opening.

The club needs donations for their upcoming jumble sales, which take place on the last Saturday of each month.

The club will accept any donation of clothing (all ages), curtains, toys, hearing aids and blankets.

According to Strachan, the jumble sale is popular and they rely on the income generated to be used for their community service activities.

They’d also like to remind the community they can start placing orders for their Christmas cakes from the club.
