Drug possession
On April 5, members of the Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) arrested three suspects on charges of drug possession in Wendon Avenue, Brakpan, cocaine was seized.
“The second arrest was made in Extension Two, Ivory Park. Officers confiscated 54 packages of dagga that was wrapped in foil, as well as 1.5kg of loose product.”
One suspect was arrested for possession of Mandrax in Singh Avenue, Actonville.
Vehicle recovery
An abandoned grey Toyota Fortuner was recovered on Old Pretoria Road next to Oakmore Station. It was reported as stolen in Thembisa.
An abandoned bronze BMW 3-series was found on the R25, Kempton Park. It was stolen in Olifantsfontein during a house robbery.
Two motorcycles, a Bigboy and Motomia, were recovered at the informal settlement on Sam Molele Drive, Thembisa. Both were reported as stolen in the area.
